At work we have this set of marketing materials featuring models posing in business attire, looking pensive and inspirational, and all in black and white to look extra arty.
One morning my boss Adam brought his camera in having decided the team should slink off to a meeting room to recreate the poses with just the right balance of accuracy and mockery. They (mostly) came out brilliantly and Adam began subtly introducing our versions into his management presentations over the coming months.
This was around the same time I was doing my Transformers pics and I decided to recreate our mock poses in my cartoony-style with the idea that I would slip them into a VMware Administration team presentation planned for March 2012-ish.
The presentation itself evolved into a much more serious VMware Lab Guide affair with printed materials and objectives so the pictures were left on the iPad for a while, however, finally they were used on a set of handsome mugs that I gave out as ‘leaving gifts’ for the team when I transferred to my new role in October 2012.
The image of me came up quite early on in a Google image search for Logicalis!
